Wacky World Experiences

Unintended Consequences

a Wacky World

"For my kayak adventure day, I only asked that I get a chance to
enjoy an occasional glimpse of the sky."

"And that's exactly what I got!"

"Just not the way I expected."

The Wacky World of Unintended Consequences

Not every Request that is sent out to the Universe manifests in exactly the manner imagined.

Check out some of the stories below . . .

We very much appreciate being able to share these stories. This gives all of us a better chance of writing Result Requests that will produce the results we imagined. As you will see, the Universe can be a sort of practical jokester.

If you haven't already seen the 1967 movie, "Bedazzled" with Dudley Moore and Peter Cook, or the 2000 remake by the same title with Brendan Fraser and Elizabeth Hurley, please consider doing so. These movies do a great job of depicting unintended consequences based on ambiguous requests.

This comes from The Mental Equivalent by Emmet Fox,

published in The Prosperity Bible, Jeremy P. Tarcher/Penguin, 2007

There is an interesting story about Napoleon. He thought a big nose was a sign of strong character. He said, "Give me a man with plenty of nose." If someone came to him and said that a certain officer ought to be promoted, he would say: "Has he got plenty of nose? Give me a man with a big nose." If an officer was killed, he replaced him with someone with a big nose. You know what happened. The law sent him Wellington, and Wellington destroyed him. Wellington had the largest nose in English history. He said himself it was more of a handle than a nose. Take that as a joke if you like, but it does carry an important lesson.

We would very much like to hear your story.

Please consider sharing your story (stories) of requests you've made where the manifested result went somewhat awry.

Your story doesn't have to be limited to using an ICHIWAH device. Any story of how a request you made had a result that on hindsight actually was what was asked for; but that not what you had intended.

Please indicate whether it is OK for us to share your story on this ICHIWAH Community web page.

Use the email form located below to tell your story.

Thank you.
